Former pupils of both Barlborough Hall School and Mount St Mary’s College are known as Old Mountaineers. And to become an Old Mountaineer (OM) is something very special.
OMs can be found the world over and share a common history, whether they left school more than 70 years ago, or last year. It is about more than shared history, as wonderful as that is. OMs are part of the school’s future and as we prepare to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the College, we are delighted to be strengthening and renewing our links and friendships.
Today the College and the Mount Association are pleased to work very closely together to ensure that OMs and the work of their forbearers remains as relevant and as important as ever. We love hearing about how OMs are now doing so please keep in touch with us and share your news. We regularly welcome OMs to the College and to Barlborough Hall so they can look around, reminisce and share their memories with us. If you would also like to do so, please just give us a call so we know to expect you.
