Welcome & Team
Our cosmopolitan boarding community of British and overseas students is at the heart of College life. It is a place where memories and friendships are made that last a lifetime.
The boarding family create a home from home environment where pupils, aged 11 upwards, are safe, secure and well cared for. Children from across Europe, Africa and Asia study and board here, often continuing a family tradition. Pupils who live locally also enjoy boarding, whether for the odd night or every Monday to Thursday. Click here for options.

Varying aspects of College life attract different families to us. For some it is the idyllic, rural setting, others value the spiritual identity of the school or the wide range of co-curricular opportunities, such as sport, music or the Combined Cadet Force.
Overseas families appreciate the dramatic improvement to their child’s command and pronunciation of the English language and access to English as an Additional Language (EAL) examinations. These qualifications are essential if planning to pursue higher education in the UK or other English-speaking countries.
Ongoing investment in the accommodation ensures the quality of the rooms, décor, furniture and common areas is consistently extremely good. Catering, housekeeping and laundry is taken care of by our in-house teams. Click here to learn more.
The boarding team is led by the practical, well-organised Mr Powell, a father of two whose wife is a teacher at the College. Mr Powell and team take great care of the young people in their charge.
