Poppy making for Remembrance Weekend

Pre-Prep II pupils at Barlborough Hall School have been busy this week making poppies for Remembrance Weekend.

The poppies were made by cutting felt into two, different sized circular shapes then fastened together with a needle and thread to secure a black button to create the centre of the poppy. With the help of an adult, a brooch pin was then secured to the back of the poppy and Pre-Prep II are now wearing them proudly on their blazers!
